💡 Why do concrete slabs need control joints?

Concrete shrinks as it cures, and joints tell it where to crack.

• Groovers cut clean control joints while the concrete is still fresh.
• Joints spaced about 2 to 3 times the slab thickness in feet work for most slabs.
• Good joints keep random cracks from wrecking the look of your slab.
